Orthogonal Time Sequency Multiplexing Modulation: Analysis and Low-Complexity Receiver Design

This paper proposes orthogonal time sequency multiplexing (OTSM) , a novel single carrier modulation scheme that places information symbols in the delay-sequency domain followed by cascade of time-division (TDM) and Walsh-Hadamard sequence multiplexing. Thanks to Walsh Hadamard transform (WHT), demodulation do not require complex multiplications. For proposed OTSM, we first derive input-output relation present low complexity detection method taking advantage zero-padding. We demonstrate via simulations OTSM offers high performance gains over orthogonal frequency division (OFDM) similar space (OTFS), but at lower owing WHT. Then propose channel estimation method. Finally, show how include an outer error control code turbo decoder improve coded system.
